At JanelTrip, we aim to provide a smooth and transparent cancellation experience for both guests and hosts.

Guest Cancellation

Guests may cancel bookings before check-in through their JanelTrip account dashboard.

Cancellation eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation relative to the check-in date.

Cancellation Rules

7+ days before check-in

  • Cancellation allowed
  • Eligible for full wallet refund

3–6 days before check-in

  • Cancellation allowed
  • Partial refund may apply

0–2 days before check-in

  • Cancellation allowed before check-in time
  • No refund applicable

Host Cancellation

Hosts are expected to honour confirmed bookings.

Frequent host cancellations may result in:

  • Reduced property visibility
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent account restrictions

Emergency Situations

JanelTrip may review special cancellation requests caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Medical emergencies
  • Transportation disruptions
